Why this matters
Calm, scope, and early help carry most emergencies.
Emergencies are rarely about heroics. They turn on a calm voice, a clear plan, and knowing when to call 911. These workshops give fathers and sons that calm, and the confidence to work within their training.
Physician-led perspective
The academy is founded by an emergency medicine trained physician. Our workshops are informed by real clinical experience, but they are educational, not certifying. Where formal certification is offered, it is delivered through authorized certifying bodies.

Three tracks
Designed for the family, not a clinical course.
Youth medical readiness
Age-appropriate first aid awareness, calm 911 calls, recognizing emergencies, simple wound care, and knowing when to escalate.
Father medical readiness
Higher-detail workshops for fathers: bleeding control education, recognition of common emergencies, family emergency planning, and safe escalation.
Wilderness medicine principles
Awareness-level wilderness triage concepts, environmental injuries, and emergency communication in remote settings. Educational only.
Every workshop is hands-on. Fathers and sons practice the skills together (bleeding control, bandaging, and calm assessment) within a clear, supervised scope.

Our workshops are educational. They are not a substitute for professional medical care. Participants act only within their level of training.In an emergency
Call 911 or your local emergency services. Emergency intervention is the work of trained professionals. Our role is to help families recognize, stabilize within scope, and escalate quickly.Certification
Where formal certification is offered, it is delivered through authorized certifying bodies. Our standard workshops use language such as awareness, readiness, and education.Emergency action plans
Every event has a written emergency action plan: communication, EMS access, weather thresholds, and on-site first aid staging. Plans are reviewed at orientation.Founding Cohort
